Unlocking The Latest in Travel: A New JetBlue Lounge and Sweet Venue at Logan Airport!

If you’re flying out of Boston Logan, there’s a new reason to get to the airport a little early.

JetBlue’s new BlueHouse lounge is officially open in Terminal C, and it’s a pretty impressive addition to the Boston travel experience.

The 12,000-square-foot lounge opened August 27 and was designed specifically with Boston and New England in mind. There’s a central bar, dining areas, quiet work spaces, a game room with Boston sports memorabilia, a library-inspired workspace and even a hidden candy closet. 

What does that mean for travelers?

Access depends on your JetBlue status, fare and eligible card benefits, so it isn’t simply a “buy a ticket and hang out in the lounge” situation. Eligible Mint and Mint Flex travelers receive complimentary access, along with certain Mosaic and JetBlue Premier Card members. Other eligible travelers may be able to purchase access depending on their status and availability.

For travelers who already have access, though, this could make the airport experience considerably more enjoyable  especially when you’re dealing with an early flight or a long travel day.

Mike’s Pastry has officially opened a new location in Terminal C at Boston Logan, bringing its famous cannoli and other Italian pastries into the airport. The location opened in September 2026 and is the bakery’s most travel friendly location!

For travelers who have visited Mike’s Pastry in Boston’s North End, the new airport location offers a much more convenient way to pick up some of the bakery’s signature treats without making a separate trip into the city.

What Can You Get at the New Logan Location?

The Terminal C location features several of the bakery’s well-known desserts, including: Lobster tails,Tiramisu, Cookies, Espresso and more!

Travelers can pick up pastries to enjoy during their trip or bring home with them. And yes, the famous Mike’s Pastry boxes are part of the experience. Massport officials specifically highlighted the bakery’s traditional boxes tied with string as part of bringing a recognizable piece of Boston to Logan.

From Boston’s North End to Logan Airport

Mike’s Pastry has been part of Boston’s North End since 1946. The bakery was founded by Michael Mercogliano and became particularly known for its cannoli and other Italian-American pastries.

The North End location on Hanover Street remains the bakery’s original and best-known storefront, but Mike’s has expanded to additional locations around the Boston area.

The Logan opening marks another step in that expansion and puts the brand directly in front of the millions of travelers who pass through Boston’s airport.

According to Mike’s Pastry ownership, bringing the bakery to Logan is also a way to introduce travelers to a recognizable part of Boston, whether they are visiting the city or heading home. So if your next trip takes you through Boston Logan, you now have another distinctly Boston option to add to your airport food list.
