EPCOT
EPCOT is a Walt Disney World Resort theme park in Bay Lake, Florida. It is owned and operated by The Walt Disney Company through its Parks, Experiences and Products division. Inspired by an unrealized concept of the same name developed by Walt Disney, the park opened on October 1, 1982, as EPCOT Center, and was the second of four theme parks built at Walt Disney World, after Magic Kingdom Park.
Spanning 305 acres (123 hectares), more than twice the size of Magic Kingdom Park, Epcot is dedicated to the celebration of human achievement, namely technological innovation and international culture, and is often referred to as a “permanent world’s fair”.
The park is divided into two main sections: Future World and World Showcase. Future World is home to attractions that showcase the latest technological innovations, while World Showcase is a collection of pavilions that represent 11 countries around the world.
Epcot is a popular destination for families and adults alike. The park offers something for everyone, from thrilling rides to educational exhibits. Whether you’re looking to learn about different cultures or experience the latest in technology, Epcot is sure to have something to amaze you.
